Could a Downloaded Video Be Harming My PC?

I recently downloaded a video to use as a background for OBS, but ever since, my computer has been acting really slow. Now, when I try to delete the video file, I get a message saying it's open in winrtutil32, which prevents me from removing it. I'm worried this might be a virus or some kind of malware. What can I do to fix this?

It sounds like that video could be causing your issues, but we need more details. What exactly did you download, and where did it come from? That can help determine if there's a risk of malware.

I downloaded it from a Discord server called sv_cheats 778.

Gotcha, I think I might know where this is going!

Can you tell me the type of file you downloaded? If it's just a video file, it's usually safe. However, some people might accidentally download an executable file disguised as a video, like 'cool_video.avi.exe', which could be dangerous. Just a thought!

I figured it out! The file was mistakenly added to OBS. I ran a malware scan with Malwarebytes, and thankfully, it was not a virus. I ended up deleting OBS, and now I can delete the video file.
