Looking for Budget PC Build and Accessories Recommendations

I'm trying to put together a starter PC build that can handle most games, and I have a budget of around $1,000 for the entire setup. Additionally, I'm hoping to find good recommendations for a decent mic and headset, ideally priced under $100 each. Any advice?

First off, make sure to allocate about half of your budget just for the graphics card since it’s the most crucial part for gaming performance. For around $100-$300, you can find used GPUs, but if you're looking at builds that are new, you might want to spend at least $750 to get a decent rig. Check out benchmarking results online to find the best options. For example, try to aim for at least an RX 6000 or RTX 20 series GPU, as older cards may not get support for new games.

So if I get a $500 GPU, I should expect to spend another $500 on the rest of the parts?
