I'm upgrading my 10-year-old PC and I'm not sure if I need a new CPU cooler. Right now, I have a CRYORIG H5 Ultimate Mid Tower Cooler, but I'm planning to get an Intel 14700K. Can I still use my current cooler, or have air coolers improved enough that I should consider getting a new one?

Your cooler can technically handle it, but the 14700K can max out at around 200W, which is pushing the limits of your cooler. If you're into gaming or anything demanding, I'd suggest upgrading. Intel's chips tend to be pretty power-hungry and run hotter than AMD's. A new cooler will give you better performance.
You might want to consider a new cooler. Modern CPUs, like the 14700K, can run hotter and your current cooler might not handle those temperatures well. Plus, finding a compatible bracket for the old cooler could be a challenge. Going for an AIO would be a safer bet, especially if you want to avoid overheating issues.
