I'm upgrading to an AM5 motherboard and I've hit a snag with my MSI B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi. On my previous AM4 board, there was a connector next to the motherboard power for the front panel USB, but now I can't find where to plug it in. Are there any options to connect it, or do I need a converter? Also, I've noticed that newer boards don't seem to require USB cables for the motherboard IO anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm in the middle of the upgrade!

Are you talking about connecting front panel USB-C or USB-A? Check along the right edge of the board; the IO layout has been rotated 90 degrees. You should have some headers available for your USB connections there.
Look near the bottom of your motherboard, below the SATA ports. You should find two USB 3.1 headers - they might be blue. Just be careful as those pins can bend easily. For USB-C, it should be above the SATA ports, so make sure you connect to that header. That should help you get everything sorted out!
