I'm building my first PC and noticed the CPU pins are angled rather than standing straight up. Is that normal? Here's a link to the image I took: https://imgur.com/a/7Op4cOQ. Thanks for any help!

Correct! Pins that stand up are used in PGA (Pin Grid Array) sockets. LGA sockets are designed to be more forgiving, so as long as you don’t damage the CPU, you should be fine. Just make sure to match the triangle indicators on the CPU and socket when you install it, and don't forget to connect all the necessary power cables before powering it on!
Yeah, the pins are supposed to be angled. Most LGA (Land Grid Array) sockets have them set like that rather than standing directly up. So you're good!
