I'm wondering if an RTX 5060 Ti graphics card will run properly with a 500W power supply unit (PSU) and an Intel i5 9400F processor. Any thoughts on compatibility and performance?

You might consider upgrading to a 4060, especially since the i5 9400F is a bit of a stretch for newer games. Just a thought!

Definitely! But I'd recommend sharing what specific PSU model you have. Also, if you're looking for smoother performance, think about upgrading to a 9700K if that’s an option for you!

It really depends on how reliable that 500W PSU is and its age. PSUs can lose their efficiency over time, so if it’s older, you might run into issues. Just make sure to check its rating and condition!

I got my PC in March 2020 and haven't had any problems with it!

Sure, it should work, but just keep in mind that weaker PSUs with lower-tier components might struggle. If your PSU is at least a tier C on the efficiency list, you should be okay since neither the 5060 Ti nor the 9400F is too power-hungry. Plus, if you're only running a couple of SSDs and not a ton of hard drives, you should be good!

It's an 80 Plus Bronze PSU, so I think I should be in the clear, right? I only have one HDD and two SSDs.
