My iPhone 13 is Acting Up—Help Needed!

Hey everyone, I need some advice. I'm not a tech novice, but it feels like my iPhone 13 is slowly failing on me. I've had it for less than four years, and now it won't charge properly. I have to twist the charger in weird angles to get any sort of charge, and it keeps cutting in and out. I even got a new charger yesterday, but the problem persists. On top of that, sending photos has turned into a nightmare; they sit in 'sending' mode for ages only to not go through at all. Sometimes people respond to me before the photo even appears to be sent on my side! My phone also acts up during calls, says there's liquid detected in the charging port, and my autocorrect has gone haywire. Am I looking at needing a new phone, or should I just take it to Apple for help? Thanks in advance! 💔

You’re calling someone a boomer and asking for help? That’s a bit odd. Anyway, just clean that charger port and check if it resolves the charging issue before jumping to any drastic solutions!

I wouldn’t recommend taking it to Apple; they charge a lot! Instead, find a good local repair shop and ask about getting the charging port replaced. You might save some cash that way.

Maybe take it easy on the age comments? Just trying to help here! Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? It could just be minor issues you can fix yourself.

Your charging port might just be dirty! I read somewhere that cleaning it out can really help. Try following some steps to clean it up. After that, back up your files and do a factory reset—that could fix all those glitches. Avoid a full restore to avoid carrying over any problems you have now.

Yes, cleaning the port is a great idea! Just be careful. After that, doing a reset could give your phone a fresh start and might solve some of the issues.

Cleaning and resetting sounds like a solid plan. Just make sure to take backups of everything important!

It sounds like your charging port is either clogged or faulty. Try cleaning it gently with a toothpick. If that doesn't work, you might have to get it replaced. The slow photo sending could be because of limited storage or the receiver's bad connection. As for autocorrect, well, that’s just iOS, am I right? 😂
