Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC and am noticing something unusual with my CPU temperatures. I'm using a Ryzen 5 7600X paired with a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120SE cooler and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste. While idle temperatures are great at about 38-39°C, I'm hitting 83-90°C during stress tests with Prime95. The odd thing is that even under load, my cooler feels cold to the touch, which seems concerning. The fins and the base where it connects to the CPU are barely warm. Should I be worried about my cooler being cold, and could it be broken? Has anyone dealt with something similar?

You're not alone; that seems normal! If your cooler isn't hot to the touch, that's usually a good sign it's dispersing heat properly rather than holding onto it. When you stop the stress test, do your temps drop back to normal quickly? That can be a good indicator of everything working well!
90°C is pretty normal for Ryzen 7000 CPUs, so you're likely fine there! The cooler feeling cold could mean it's doing its job efficiently by dissipating heat well, but it sounds strange. Just keep an eye on those temps during normal use.
Yeah, the temps drop to around 40-45°C immediately after I end the test.
