Hey everyone! I'm not really tech-savvy, but I have this PC that used to belong to my brother. It's been working fine, but today when I turned it on, the screen is completely black. I've tried the troubleshooting steps from HP, like forcing a power down and restarting, but that hasn't helped. I really wish I could show you a picture of what's happening! Any advice would be super appreciated.

Make sure to check your power and video cables. Sometimes they're not plugged in all the way or in the right spots. If you're using HDMI, some PCs have multiple HDMI ports, so you might want to try switching it up.
Just to add, if you have a separate monitor, you could try connecting your PC to that one. If it works, then the original monitor might be the issue. Good luck!
It sounds like a frustrating situation! Have you tried disconnecting the power completely? Hold down the power button for about 30 seconds after you unplug it, then plug it back in and start it up again. Sometimes that can do the trick!
