I've got a 5-year-old Corsair HX 1000i power supply that's been sitting unused, and I'm considering upgrading to an RTX graphics card. Specifically, I'm curious if this PSU will work with the RTX 4060, 4060 Ti, 4070, and potentially the 5060 or 5070 models. Is there any reason I might need to buy a new power supply instead?

As long as the GPUs don’t use the new 16-pin socket, you should be fine! Most of the newer RTX cards still support the standard connectors you already have with your PSU.

Hello, do you know which of the mentioned GPUs actually require a 16-pin socket?
