How long should a full system reset take on my PC?

I set my PC to do a complete system reset about three hours ago using the Windows option for a local reinstall. I've got two 2.5" SSDs, one is 500GB and the other is 3TB, but I'm not sure about their speeds. I'm starting to worry because it seems like it's taking way too long, and it's still stuck on the BIOS startup screen with the loading wheel just spinning around.

If you’re using the Windows reset option, it usually shouldn’t take more than an hour, especially with an SSD. You mentioned it’s been stuck for three hours; that’s definitely longer than expected. Have you checked to see if there's any activity happening, like the SSD light flickering?

Yeah, the SSD doesn’t seem to be making any noise, so it might be worth restarting it. How old is that install, though? Sometimes really cluttered systems can cause issues.
