Can I Control My Government-Issued Laptop Remotely?

I'm stuck using a government-issued laptop for work, which means I can't connect any external devices besides a USB mouse or keyboard. I'm curious if there's a way to set something up to control this laptop remotely. I'm considering options like using HDMI out to stream to an external monitor that can send the feed online (without going through the laptop) and using a USB mouse and keyboard that are internet-connected but appear as regular devices to the laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

You really need to be careful here. Trying to bypass security measures on a government-issued device can lead to some serious consequences, including potential criminal charges. It might not be worth it to explore further.

Yeah, seriously. I would advise against going down this path. Losing your job or facing legal issues isn't worth any kind of workaround.
