I broke my Ethernet adapter USB and bought a new Asus WiFi adapter from Best Buy, but my Windows 11 PC just won't recognize it. I've watched tons of YouTube tutorials and tried everything, including resetting my PC multiple times. I've done network resets and checked in the task manager and device settings, but still no luck. I've been without internet since my last adapter broke, and I really need some help here!

First off, did you make sure to install the drivers for your WiFi adapter? Sometimes they don’t install automatically, and that's why the adapter won't show up. Also, check if you see the WiFi icon in your network tray. If it's not there, that’s definitely a sign it’s not being recognized yet.

If the adapter isn't listed anywhere in your settings, it might be worth trying to plug it into a different USB port, just in case there's an issue with the port itself. Also, double-check that the adapter is properly seated in the USB slot; sometimes it can feel like it’s connected when it isn’t.
