How can I securely erase the hard drive on my ASUS NUC 13 Pro?

I'm trying to securely erase the hard drive of my ASUS NUC 13 Pro (model NUC13ANKi7). I followed some advice that said to access the UEFI settings, navigate to the Advanced menu, then the Storage menu, and highlight my SSD to select the 'Secure Erase' option. However, I can't see any SSD listed in the Advanced/Storage menu, and there's no 'Secure Erase' option showing up for any of the highlighted items. Has anyone figured this out?

It sounds like your NUC's BIOS may not support a secure erase function. You might want to check the manual for your specific model to see if secure erase is an option. For example, I found mine under 'Tools' in the ASUS Secure Erase section, but it varies by model. Double-check that manual, just in case!

I did look at the manual, but I couldn't find anything on secure erase. Here's the link to it if you're curious: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/intel-nuc/NUC13ANK_L10_UserGuide.pdf.
