Need Advice on Upgrading My PC Parts

Hey everyone! I'm looking to give my PC a much-needed upgrade. I built my current setup back in March 2020 and while it's still handling most games okay, I'm starting to see some signs of performance drops. You can check out my current parts list here: [PC Part Picker](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xYyzrM). I'm not entirely sure what parts should be prioritized for upgrade or what I can keep from my setups, like the CPU and GPU, as I've heard they're major players in boosting performance. My budget is between $1,000 and $2,000—definitely looking for something that'll give me a solid performance boost without needing the latest top-tier components. Also, I don't have access to a Microcenter, so I'll need to order everything online, ideally from Amazon or other reputable sites. Any advice would be super helpful!

It sounds like you're due for quite an upgrade! Since most of the major components will likely need replacing, I’d actually recommend starting fresh. You could sell your old setup as a complete package. Here’s a suggested build you might want to check out: [Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GQChXR). Most newer components will give you a substantial performance boost!

Would it be possible to keep my M.2 SSD and 2TB drive? They still seem to work well.

Also, I noticed that the power supply specs look similar; will it be compatible with the new components?
