I've been searching for a new job for about a year, especially since getting laid off in May. I've been stepping up my efforts, including earning my CKA certification and I'm almost finished with my AWS SysOps certification. Although I've had a few interviews, I've faced multiple rejections recently, including one today for a DevOps position where I thought I had a good match of skills and even had an internal recommendation. I realize the job market is competitive, and I'm concerned that my resume might not be strong enough. I've put together my resume with help, but I'd love some real people's feedback to see where I can improve. Any chance you could take a look? My resume is here: [https://imgur.com/a/seh2Wl1](https://imgur.com/a/seh2Wl1)

Do you have a college degree? It’s not clear from your resume, which might be a concern for some employers.
It might help to finish that certification you're working on. Completing it shows commitment and can set you apart since many people don't follow through. Other than that, I think your resume looks decent, but competition is stiff, and someone else may have had more relevant experience.
As a hiring manager myself, I have to say that your resume doesn’t really reflect your true skills. It sounds a bit buzzword-heavy, like you're trying to embellish tasks. For instance, instead of saying you "Delivered complete data extraction of real patient records," it might just mean you ran a SQL query. Also, your most recent job doesn’t showcase any complex technical skills, which might make employers think you haven't done much. I’d suggest shortening that section or maybe even omitting it if there's nothing substantial to highlight. Also, consider dropping the Grocery Team Lead role; it's not relevant to the positions you're applying for. Tailoring your skills section for each job might also help. And honestly, your resume feels a bit junior; if you're targeting higher-level roles, you've got to showcase your experience better.
I recommend ditching the summary and the technical skills sections altogether. Instead, put certifications at the end along with any education. If there's any skill in the skills section you can't prove through your experience, it’s probably better to leave it out. You'll likely need to rewrite that part.
