Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a new PC and I've put together a list of components that I'm considering buying. I'd love any advice on whether I should stick with this setup or make some changes. Here's what I've got:

1. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU (8 cores, 4.7 GHz, AMD AM5, no cooler)
2. GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 Motherboard (AMD AM5 socket, DDR5)
3. G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 RAM (32GB, Dual Channel, AMD Optimized, with RGB)
4. GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 WindForce 3 OC (12GB GDDR7)
5. Samsung 990 Pro SSD (2TB, PCIe 4.0)
6. Lian Li LANCOOL 207 Case (Mid Tower)
7. Corsair RMe Series RM850e Power Supply (850W, ATX 3.1, 80 Plus Gold)
8. Noctua NH-U12A chromax.black CPU Cooler (Max 23 dBA)

I'm excited but want to make sure I'm not missing anything important! Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Honestly, if you want to stick with that list, just go for it! The specs look pretty good overall. It'll be a fantastic build and should perform well for gaming and other tasks.

You've got a solid base, but there are a few adjustments worth considering. Your CPU is pretty powerful, but it might be overkill for the RTX 5070. You generally want a balanced build, so consider if you're planning to upgrade your GPU soon. The X870E motherboard is high-end and may not be necessary for most users. A B850 board could save you some cash without skimping on performance. Also, I noticed you're using DDR4 RAM, but it won't work with your AM5 setup. Switching to DDR5 at 6000MHz would be the way to go! As for storage, while the Samsung 990 Pro is fantastic, the 990 Evo Plus could serve you just as well for less. Lastly, consider a different GPU, like the 9070 or a 5070 Ti, since the 5070 may struggle with future games at max settings.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! I've re-evaluated my choices and here's my updated list:
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU
- Lian Li LANCOOL 207 Case
- Corsair RMe Series RM850e Power Supply
- Noctua NH-U12A cooler
- G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 (32GB)
- GIGABYTE B850 GAMING WF6 Motherboard
- GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9070 XT (16GB)
- Samsung 990 EVO SSD (2TB)

How does this look?

Just to add, the 5070 isn't a bad card, but it might struggle with future-proofing based on its VRAM. The 9070XT would definitely be a great upgrade!
