Hey everyone, I'm in the process of replacing our old system that provides unattended access and remote support for external users. I previously used ScreenConnect and loved it for its simplicity and reliability, but I've had no response from their sales or support team lately. It feels like they might be out of the game altogether.
I need a fresh solution that allows technicians to access all organization machines easily or create sessions for external users. It would be great if the new software could run scripts, generate reports, and find installed applications. My main goal is to keep things straightforward—I really dislike complex solutions! What remote support software are you all using? Any recommendations over others? Thanks for your help!

We found Zoho worked well for us, plus they offer a free trial. Just be aware, I heard offline connectivity can be an issue, meaning it might not work for all situations.
I use Atera, and it's pretty solid! You pay by technician but get unlimited endpoints, plus it’s packed with features since it's an RMM.
Definitely consider Bomgar! It's worth the investment—nothing compares to it.
Is Bomgar still strong on features? I didn't know it had undergone changes. I used to hear it called BeyondTrust now.
Just looked into an on-prem solution called RustDesk—we’ve been testing it out and so far, it’s performing well for our needs, especially after leaving ScreenConnect due to their cert issues.
We've actually stuck with screen connect at my workplace, and it’s functioning well. Sounds like you've hit a rough patch with their support team, possibly try reaching out again?
I heard some bad news about their recent certificate issues which made it tricky for others. Is the software still reliable?
Avoid ScreenCloud at all costs—it's been a disaster lately. We're trialing EV Reach now, and it ticks all the boxes for less than competitors. Setup is easy too, and it respects AD permissions which is a must for us.
What’s the pricing like for EV Reach? Is it reasonable?
You might want to check out NinjaOne. It covers everything you mentioned and works like a charm for us.
I’ve used both Datto and NinjaOne. They’re powerful, but I find NinjaOne a bit quicker for pushing scripts and monitoring. It really speeds things up!
Yeah, when I looked it up, it said it didn’t work offline. That could be a dealbreaker!
