Hey everyone, I logged into my computer today and received a message saying my machine can't run Windows 11. Here are my specs: CPU i7 10700k, motherboard MPG Z490, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and an MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus. What do you suggest I do? It feels a bit unfair since my CPU is only 5 years old!

Check out this YouTube video—it might help clarify things for you! Personally, I've installed Windows 11 LTSC on an i7-9700K, and after disabling some of the bloatware and AI features, I've had no issues with performance. Good luck!

You could always stick with Windows 10 for now; it's still perfectly functional! The main downside is you won't receive future updates. If you really want Windows 11, though, you might end up needing a new motherboard and CPU at some point.

That's good to know! I really don't want to spend a ton on replacements. Do you think my RAM and GPU are still fine?

Definitely, your RAM and GPU are solid and should be compatible!

To get Windows 11 running on your setup, you'll need to update your motherboard's BIOS and enable TPM 2.0 in the BIOS settings. If your BIOS is already up to date, it’s likely just that TPM is turned off. Just make sure you're checking with the right sources about compatibility!
