I'm new to building PCs and I've put together a build on PCPartPicker. You can check it out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WvbbHW. Since I have no experience, I'm looking for advice on whether this build is good or if there's anything I should change. My main focus is gaming, but I'll also use it for schoolwork once I start college.

Your build isn't bad, but there's definitely room for improvement! For gaming, consider switching your CPU from the 7900x to the 7800x3d, which is one of the top choices for gaming right now. You have 64GB of RAM listed—do you really need that much? Most gamers are fine with 32GB, so that could save you some cash to boost other parts. Also, I recommend upgrading your HDD and Gen 3 m.2 SSD to a 2TB Gen 4 m.2 SSD. By 2025, m.2 is going to be the standard for speed, and it's worth it! Lastly, think about swapping your 3060 for a 9060xt for a significant performance enhancement. You can even consider air cooling to save some more bucks if you need to adjust your budget.
