I'm putting together a new PC build and I'm wondering if this setup is good enough for gaming and general use. Here's what I have so far:
- Corsair RM850 80+ Gold PSU (2021 model)
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU
- MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi ATX motherboard
- G.Skill Trident DDR5 32GB RAM
- GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) GPU
- Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD
I also need recommendations for a case and some fans to complete the build. Any thoughts?

Your build looks pretty solid overall! Just one thing to consider: since you're spending so much on the CPU, it seems like you might want to invest a bit more into the GPU as well. The 7800X3D is great, but a 5060 Ti might hold it back a little, especially in gaming scenarios. If your budget allows, maybe look into a better graphics card. Plus, if you're not set on the X670E motherboard, a B650 could save you some cash to spend on that GPU instead.
You’ve got most of the essentials covered! Just don’t forget about a case and a decent CPU cooler. I'd recommend going with a dual tower air cooler or at least a 240-360mm AIO if you want to keep that CPU running cool. That motherboard is a solid choice for future upgrades too!
Sounds great for future proofing! By the way, are there any known issues with this board, like how some Asrock boards have problems with AMD CPUs?
That's good advice! The CPU is awesome, but that GPU really needs an upgrade if you're looking for better gaming performance.
