I've just built my first PC and now I'm trying to pick a monitor. My friend suggested the ASUS TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A and the Alienware 27 4K Dual-Resolution Gaming Monitor (AW2725QF), but I've seen some mixed reviews online. I've checked out various websites, but I'm still confused about which one to get. I want to keep my budget under $500, so I'm open to other suggestions too!

If you check out RTings, they recommend the Acer Nitro XV275K P3 as a great mid-range 4K monitor. It's priced around $540 right now, which is slightly over your budget, but it might be worth waiting for a sale since it's supposed to usually be around $500. Plus, if you're looking for something closer to $300, the Gigabyte M28U is a solid choice. The monitors you mentioned could work too, so maybe consider posting this in a monitor-specific forum for more insights!
ok thank you!
