Need Help Choosing a GPU for My First PC Build

Hey everyone! This is my first post here, and I'm super excited because I'm finally building my first PC. After watching and researching parts for a few years, I've got a decent understanding of how everything works. My budget is around 1200 CAD, and I've mostly made my decisions except for the GPU. I'm considering either the Ryzen 5 7600X or possibly a more powerful chip from the 7 series. I plan to use this PC primarily for light gaming—nothing too demanding like Elden Ring or Dark Souls—so I don't need an ultra-powerful graphics card. I'd really appreciate any suggestions or guidance on finding a compatible GPU that fits my budget and needs!

For light gaming, I’d recommend the 9060 XT. It’s a solid choice for 1080p gaming, and it handles 1440p pretty well on reduced settings. Price should be around $360 USD, which would fit into about 30% of your total budget.

Also, if you use features like FSR, you could potentially play at 4K in many games without too much trouble!

It really depends on your budget allocation for the GPU. Have you checked out PCPartPicker? It’s a great resource for finding affordable components, or you might want to look into the used market for good deals! Without knowing your exact budget for the GPU, it’s tough to give specific advice.

My budget is around $1200-$1300 CAD, and I was thinking 30-40% for the GPU since I already allocated about $300 for the CPU.
