I'm currently using a Microtek Legend 650 UPS, but it shuts down my PC unexpectedly during heavy tasks like gaming. While it handles light work well enough for me to shut down, it's not cutting it for more demanding applications. Here are my PC specs:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core
- **Cooler**: Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGB V2
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO AC
- **GPU**: RTX 3060
- **Memory**: Adata Xpg 16GB
- **Storage**: 1x 250GB WD Blue SN570 and 2x 1TB WD Blue SN550
- **Power Supply**: MSI MPG A-GF 850 W 80+ Gold Certified
- **Operating System**: Windows 11
- **Monitor**: Samsung Odyssey G7
I'm looking for a more robust UPS that can support my setup without abrupt shutdowns. Any recommendations?

Since you have an RTX 3060, your PSU should be sufficient. It’s likely not the issue. Make sure to check the temperature readouts of your CPU and GPU when gaming. If they're fine (under 72°C for the GPU and 60-65°C for the CPU), a UPS with higher capacity (like a 1kVA model) would be a smart upgrade if you keep running into these problems!
You might want to test your current UPS by plugging your PSU directly into the wall instead. It could help determine if the UPS itself is the issue or if something's off with your PC. Just a thought!
I tried that, and it looks like the UPS is the culprit.
Exactly, I got the temps checked and the guy told me the same about getting a bigger UPS.
