Which CPU upgrade is best for gaming on a budget under $220?

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU because I think my current one is bottlenecking my GPU. Right now, I have an RTX 3050 with 8GB and I'm using an Intel i3-10100F that runs at 3.6 GHz. I mainly play CPU-intensive games like Elden Ring and Grounded, and I'm struggling to hit 60 FPS on low settings. I'm hoping to find something that offers good performance for a price under $220. By the way, I didn't build my PC; my brother did. Any recommendations?

You might want to check if your CPU is actually the problem. The RTX 3050 isn’t the best card for high settings, but it should manage decent performance. If you really want to upgrade, the Intel 11th series is the way to go without needing a new motherboard. The i5-11600K could give you a nice bump in performance!

I’ve seen good results with the i5-11600KF too, it fits right into your current motherboard and can definitely help with CPU-heavy games.
