I recently downgraded my laptop from Windows 11 to Windows 10 because it was running pretty slow. However, now it's stuck on the 'ASUS Getting Ready' screen after booting, and it's been like this for about 30 minutes. What should I do?

When my computer gets stuck like that, I usually just leave it alone for a while. If it’s taking too long, then a restart might be needed, but give it some time first. Sometimes these updates just need a little patience to finish up.

It’s odd that your laptop is stuck; did it originally come with Windows 10? Before downgrading, it might have been better to troubleshoot the slowness—maybe adding RAM or getting a faster SSD could’ve helped. Just check if the partition with Windows 10 files is okay. Lots of things to consider, but I’m glad it seems better!

Yeah, after waiting a bit longer, it actually booted up! Thanks for the advice!
