I've got a 1TB Seagate 7200rpm HDD that I mainly use for storage, and I recently tried to format it to repurpose it. But when I started a full format, everything froze up, and after a restart, the drive was listed as raw. I tried to quick format it, but got an error saying it didn't complete successfully.
