I've got a PC that's less than two years old and I've been vigilant about keeping it virus-free. However, today I started noticing that my monitor is flickering constantly, happening multiple times per second. The only recent change is that I updated my GeForce graphics driver. Out of four monitors, this is the only one acting up, and the one that isn't flickering is so laggy it's practically unusable. Any idea what's going on? I can send a video of the flickering if that helps!
EDIT: I've also noticed that when I try to shut down or restart my PC but cancel the action, the flickering and lagging temporarily stop. This makes me think it might be a software issue since three virus scans came back clean.

If you’re still having issues, it could also be worth checking your display cables and connections. Sometimes they can get loose or damaged and cause flickering. Just double-check everything is plugged in snugly and see if that makes a difference!
It sounds like the new driver could be the culprit here. You might want to try rolling back to the previous version of the driver. I've had similar issues before and downgrading has helped me out a lot. Just be sure to check for any updates later on that might fix the new one. Good luck!
I get you about the lag! If you can, try using your keyboard to navigate and uninstall the driver. It might take a bit, but sometimes that's the only way when the screen's acting weird.
Totally agree! It’s a pain when drivers mess things up. If your PC is lagging too much to do anything, you might want to boot into safe mode and try downgrading from there.
