You might be able to get a better setup if you're okay with used parts. By combining this [Newegg build](https://newegg.io/8c16f9f) with a used [RX 6600 XT](https://www.jawa.gg/product/86301/rx-6600-xt-xfx-speedster-3-fan), you can create a slightly more powerful system and still stay around $600.
Are you planning to game with this PC? Just a heads up, for a budget of $600, it might be tough to make a system that competes with consoles like the Xbox or PlayStation. Your GPU isn't going to outperform those systems, and typically, a decent gaming PC starts at around $1300 or more.
I have a PS5 already, but I want to game with friends on PC. I mostly play older games from around 2010 and before, like Left 4 Dead 2 and Garry's Mod, so I'm not really into modern AAA titles.
True, but with a PC, you have options for upgrades later on. Plus, PCs are great for things beyond just gaming, like browsing, watching movies, or even some schoolwork!
Thanks for the suggestion! Quick question: If I already have a laptop with Windows 10, can I take that out and use it for this build instead of buying Windows 11?
