Confused About My MSI Motherboard Warranty and RMA Process

I purchased an MSI B650 Tomahawk motherboard on Amazon about a year ago, and I'm having issues with one of the NVME ports. The main port functions well, but the second one has performance issues, showing fluctuating read/write speeds when I run benchmarks. When I use the SSD in the third slot, the speeds are normal. I checked the MSI website for warranty claims, but they say to contact my dealer. Now I'm left unsure whether to reach out to MSI or Amazon for support. Any advice?

Can you clarify which NVME slot you're referring to as the second one? Also, do you have anything installed in PCI_E2? That specific motherboard can have lane-sharing issues that slow down M2_3 if PCI_E2 is occupied. As for warranty, I recommend chatting with Amazon. They generally have strong consumer protection laws in the EU, and since you bought from them, your contract is with them, not MSI.

I misunderstood the slot layout too; it seems like M2_3 is the one causing trouble. I've raised a support ticket with MSI to see what they say, just waiting for their response.
