I just finished buying all the parts for my new PC, and I'm wondering if I made any mistakes. Here's what I've got: an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, a Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS CPU cooler, an MSI PRO X870E-P motherboard, 64 GB of Patriot Venom DDR5 memory, a Samsung 9100 PRO 2 TB SSD, a PNY OC GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, an NZXT H6 Flow mid-tower case, a be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 1200 W PSU, and some be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4 case fans. I'm planning to game at a resolution of 3440x1440p. Did I go overboard with any of these choices?

I think you did well! Just remember, sometimes it's not all about the most expensive parts. It's about what works best for you and your gaming needs.
Looks good overall! Just make sure you know how to set everything up properly. Enjoy your new gaming rig!
You could have saved some cash, especially on the case fans and maybe the PSU wattage. But overall, it’s a solid build!
Definitely some pricey picks, but no glaring mistakes here. Just make sure your motherboard has all the features you need, and you should be fine.
Thanks for the reassurance!
Honestly, it looks like you might have overspent on a few parts, especially the RAM and SSD. But if everything is compatible and you’re happy with your choices, that’s what matters!
Yeah, sometimes it's better to buy what you want rather than worry too much about the cost. Games are going to look amazing on that build!
True, but finding the RTX 5080 for $999 is a steal! Good job on that one.
