I've been trying to install my Samsung 990 EVO Plus on my Asus ROG Strix X870-A motherboard, but it seems like the NVMe is not seating correctly. It's sitting beyond the Q-latch point, and I'm not sure what to do. I can't post images here, but I'll drop a link in the comments with a visual for reference. I eventually managed to fix it by shimmying it into the connector!

If you're having trouble, try pressing down on the Q-latch. It should help the NVMe slot into place better. Keep an eye on how far it's sticking out too!
Make sure to line it up properly and shimmy it into the connector. Sometimes it takes a bit of wiggling to get it to fit perfectly. Good luck!
I was scared to snap it, but this worked! Thanks!
Thank you so much for the tip!
Glad you got it sorted! Sometimes a little shimmying is all it takes to get those connectors to line up. Just be gentle!
I tried that, but it still felt too long for some reason.
