Help! My New PC Isn’t Recognizing My 4TB SSD

I've just built a new PC, and while my boot drive is functioning perfectly, I'm having trouble with my 4TB 2.5" SSD. It's not showing up in Windows Explorer at all, and Disk Management only recognizes it as a 2TB drive. I can't select any options in the Disk Management window either. I've checked the SATA connections, and they're solid. The drive shows up as online in the Disk Management, but I can't find it anywhere in Windows Explorer. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Have you checked if the drive shows up in the BIOS? Sometimes the BIOS can provide hints on what's going wrong. If it shows up there, it’s more likely a Windows issue rather than a hardware one.

This sounds concerning! What brand is your 4TB SSD, and has it worked as a 4TB drive in another system before? There are cases where fake drives are sold at a lower price, which could be the issue here.
