Asked By GamerGal2001 On

I'm in the process of building a $1500 gaming and CAD PC, and I'm looking for suggestions on which GPU to choose. I'm considering the 9070 XT but I'm curious to know if there are better performing options available at a similar price point. Any advice would be appreciated!

What will your build primarily be used for? Are you focused on gaming at high settings or looking for 60 fps? If you can snag a 5070 Ti for the same price, I'd recommend going for that. The 9070 XT sits between the 5070 and 5070 Ti. Just remember, the experience might vary with DLSS or FG, depending on what you prefer.

If you're looking to save some cash, you could opt for a 7500F (which is similar to the 7600X) for about $100 less. You could then put that savings towards a 5070 Ti. Overall, for $1500, you're in a great spot for performance this generation!

Just a heads up, you didn't use a Canadian list for your parts! If you’re in Canada, with that budget, you could aim for a 9060 XT max. If you're willing to stretch a little, a 5060 Ti with 16GB could be within reach too!

Just to clarify, I'm not from Canada.

He meant CAD like Computer Aided Design, not Canadian Dollars! Haha.

The 9070 XT actually outperforms the 5070 Ti, especially when undervolted; it gets pretty close to the 5080. AMD has really stepped up their GPU game, but some people still lean towards Nvidia for some reason!
