Why Is My Computer’s Wi-Fi Speed So Low Compared to My Phone?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my computer's internet speed. My phone can get up to 220 Mbps on Wi-Fi, but my computer only manages to stay around 20-30 Mbps. I used to have it connected via Ethernet, but that was only giving me 10 Mbps, so I switched to using Starlink (which my phone connects to) but didn't see any improvement. I really need some help figuring this out!

It sounds like you might have a problem with your computer itself. Since your phone is getting good speeds but not your computer, check for any security software like Norton or McAfee that might be throttling your connection, or make sure you're not unknowingly using a VPN that's slowing things down.

Nope, I'm using Windows security and no VPNs, but this was working fine last week! Now it’s terrible.
