I'm in the process of building a high-end gaming PC and could use some help. My budget is around $2,000, but I can stretch it a bit since I've saved some extra cash. So far, I'm planning to get the following components:
- RTX 4090
- Ryzen 9 9950X3D
- Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz
- Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE
Does anyone have recommendations for a compatible motherboard and a reliable power supply that would work well with this setup? Also, I'm looking for a case that can fit the GPU properly. Any other suggestions or extra components that might be helpful would be greatly appreciated!

Before diving into your build, could you clarify what it's primarily for? If it's mainly gaming (like COD Warzone and Battlefield 6), you might want to reconsider the RTX 4090, especially since it's really pricey. If you're focusing more on gaming, the RTX 5080 and Ryzen 9 9800X3D can give you excellent performance without breaking the bank. A B850 motherboard would work just fine if it includes the features you're after. Just keep your budget in mind!
I'm mostly gaming, so I'll look into the 5080 instead. Thanks for the suggestion!
