Should I Exchange My 9070XT for a 5070 Ti Just for CUDA?

I recently built an AMD PC featuring a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RX 9070XT. Shortly after my purchase, I noticed that the price for the 5070 Ti dropped to just $30 more than what I paid for the 9070XT. I originally chose the 9070XT for its performance-to-cost ratio, but I'm running into issues with programs that depend on CUDA, and my attempts to use ZLUDA have only led to more errors. I've also been experimenting with Linux, but it's presenting its own set of challenges. My return window for the 9070XT ends on August 12th, so I'm seeking advice on whether I should switch to the 5070 Ti and how to handle the driver installation process if I do.

Absolutely, go for the 5070 Ti! It offers better ray tracing and overall performance, making it not just a good swap, but a smart investment.

Definitely return the 9070XT for the 5070 Ti. The compatibility with CUDA will make your experience smoother, and the specs on the 5070 Ti are more favorable overall.

You've already mentioned needing CUDA, which makes this change worthwhile. Just remember to use DDU to fully uninstall your AMD drivers before making the switch to NVIDIA.

At this price difference, the 5070 Ti is a much better deal, especially since you seem to have issues with CUDA. Even if you're just gaming, the performance improvements will be noticeable.

If CUDA is a requirement for your applications, then switching to the 5070 Ti seems like the right choice, especially with just a $30 difference. It’s a no-brainer under those circumstances.
