Need Recommendations for a Gaming PC Under 1000 CAD

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a gaming PC with a budget of $1000 CAD (before tax). I want something that can smoothly run modern games like Fortnite, Apex, Minecraft (especially with mods), GTA V, RDR2, and Cyberpunk 2077 at decent settings (aiming for 1080p at 60+ FPS ideally). I'm considering a couple of options: either building my own (with or without help) or buying one that's prebuilt and offers great value. I have a few preferences: I want something that's complete within the budget (including CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, PSU, and case), and I don't need a monitor or peripherals. I'm based in Canada, so I'd like to focus on Canadian retailers like Canada Computers, Newegg.ca, Memory Express, and Amazon.ca. If it's a prebuilt unit, I'd like to avoid poor quality PSUs and unreliable brands. Any suggestions, build ideas, or links would be super helpful! I'm planning to purchase in November, and a link for direct ordering would be ideal.

With the constantly changing PC parts market, it’s best to revisit this forum in November when you’re ready to buy. For custom builds, PCPartPicker is a great site to check compatibility and find where to buy the parts. Here's a build suggestion I found: [PCPartPicker List](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/7TbVzP). Again, check back in November for the best deals!

If you can stretch your budget to 1200 CAD, I've got a solid build for you here: [PCPartPicker List](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Xv8xMC). But if you want to stick to the 1000 CAD range, look for a 3070 for around 300-350 CAD instead. You'll get better longevity with those options!

I saw that the NV3 SSD is QLC, which isn’t the best choice due to lower durability. You might want to look at drives with TLC flash instead, like the TeamGroup MP44L or Patriot P400 Lite. They're typically a better value in the long run.
