Looking for a New Computer Without AI – Recommendations?

Hey everyone! I've been using my iMac since high school, but it's finally outdated and can't run the programs I need anymore. Apple has moved towards integrating AI into all their products, and I really want to avoid that. I'm looking for a new computer, not necessarily another iMac or any Apple laptops or tablets. I've checked a few stores, but they all seem to push AI solutions. Are there any brands offering refurbished computers without AI? The only other thing is that it has to be able to run Adobe since I rely on those programs for my small business. Thanks so much for your help! 💖

You don’t even have to use AI if you don’t want to. You can opt out of those features when you set it up. Just keep in mind that some of the tech will still be learning in the background without you knowing!

Honestly, you might have a tough time finding something without AI these days. Windows really dives into AI, so your best bet might be to go with Linux, but Adobe doesn’t run well on it. If you're open to sticking with Apple, the Mac mini with the M1 chip is a solid option and typically better bang for your buck. Just curious, why do you find AI unethical?

If you want to stay with Mac, check out the M4 Mac mini. Apple has a section on their website where they sell refurbished models, but it's kind of hidden! Just a heads up though, they still include AI.
