After upgrading around 20 laptops in our IT department to Windows 11 23H2, we're facing a frustrating issue. Every time users log in, they get a prompt saying 'Action Needed' regarding the work wireless network. This issue also resurfaces when laptops are closed and reopened. I've confirmed that all settings are the same as they were with Windows 10, including GPO configurations for machine certificates. Has anyone encountered this problem after upgrading to Windows 11? Any ideas on how to resolve it?

Have you had a chance to consult your network engineers? It seems like there might be a configuration issue between your devices and the network appliances. They could have overlooked something.
Does your network require any form of authentication? We had a situation where our Wi-Fi used a Radius server for authentication, and Windows 11's security features changed how it connected. It might require a username and password entry every time, depending on your setup.
Was this a clean install of Windows 11, or just an upgrade? Sometimes upgrades leave behind old settings that conflict with current configurations. It's worth checking the background settings.

What exactly does the 'Action Needed' prompt say? It might give us a clue about what's wrong. I mean, when we click on it, it asks 'Do you want to connect to this wireless network?' and only connects after we click yes, right? That does sound odd.
