I made a mistake and plugged the PSU cables into the motherboard while it was still on. It's been about 10 minutes now and my PC won't power on. I'm really not sure what to do—can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

Have you tried turning it on while it's plugged in and on a flat surface? Sometimes overheat issues can come from RAM. If that doesn't work, give it a minute to rest and then try again.

So you plugged the CPU power cable into the motherboard while it was on? That's tricky. Make sure you are not dealing with a short circuit. If your motherboard has any indicator lights, check if they're on or not. It could be something simple like the cables or connections being loose.

Yes, that's right! I wasn't fully connected when I did that.

Does your motherboard show any RGB lights when off, or do you have a way to see if it's getting power? I faced a similar issue and discovered that the power button wasn't getting adequate power from the PSU. I had to replace a SATA cable because of that. Just hoping you didn't damage anything major!

It did turn on after a few minutes, but my monitor still isn’t displaying anything.
