How do I completely remove a game that’s stuck on my PC?

I've got an issue with the game Escape from Tarkov. Even after uninstalling it, there are still files left on my PC, which are taking up 36 GB of space. I can't delete the game since the uninstall file seems to be missing and I'm getting an error message about it. I've looked for the files manually but no luck—how can I get rid of it for good?

It sounds like the uninstaller got deleted or moved, leaving some files behind. Don’t worry, though; you can still get rid of the game. First, go to the folder where it was installed, usually C:Battlestate GamesEFT. If Windows won't let you delete it, make sure to close any related processes in Task Manager—look for anything named BsgLauncher or EFT and end those tasks. Then, try deleting the folder again. If that still doesn't work, run File Explorer as an admin: search for it in the start menu, right-click, and select 'Run as Administrator.' If that fails, boot your PC in Safe Mode and then attempt the deletion. Lastly, check your registry for any leftover entries related to EFT and remove them carefully. Good luck!
