I've been thinking about building a new PC for a while and I'm currently waiting for the release of the 5080 graphics cards and other potential options. In the meantime, I'm considering building a PC that uses an Intel 265K processor. My plan is to rely on its integrated graphics for a few months to handle general tasks and maybe some light gaming—like browser games—until I can grab a proper graphics card for serious gaming. Do you think the integrated graphics will be sufficient for this, or will it be a laggy experience?

Honestly, if you're planning on gaming more seriously, I'd steer you away from the 265K. Consider going with an AM5 setup like the 7600 or 9700X instead—they're much better for gaming long term. But for basic tasks and light online games, the iGPU will do the job.
The integrated graphics should handle 2D games just fine. So if you're sticking to casual, less demanding games, you should be okay.
But wait, don’t AMD CPUs lack integrated graphics? How would that even work?
