Hi everyone! I'm a bit puzzled because my system only shows 5.9GB of RAM available to use, even though I have a total of 16GB installed. I'm using an MSI B550M Pro VDH WiFi motherboard, paired with Corsair Vengeance Pro 3600MHz RAM and a Ryzen 7 5700X processor. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

First off, check how much RAM is recognized by the BIOS. That might give you an idea of whether the full 16GB is being detected correctly. Also, where exactly do you see that 5.9GB number—could it be that it's reserved for hardware or the operating system?
Try restarting your PC and then open Task Manager right after booting up, before launching any apps. Sometimes, background processes can hog RAM at startup, which might explain the lower number you're seeing.
I'm pretty sure the BIOS shows the full 16GB. The 5.9GB available thing comes from Task Manager.
