Hey everyone! I'm diving into the world of PC building for the first time after years of sticking to pre-built machines and laptops. I've been doing a lot of research to understand different components and their purposes, but I still feel like I've got a long way to go. A friend who knows his stuff took a look at my part list and thought it seemed good, but I'd really like a few extra opinions before making such a big investment.
I'm aiming to build something that can handle 1080p gaming, focusing mainly on games like FFXIV and also PS3 emulation. I'm not too worried about running the latest AAA titles at 4K, so my needs are pretty specific.
One of my preferences is a case without glass panels, and I'm planning to include a Blu-ray drive, hence my choice of a case that has external bays.
I'm looking at prices in Australian dollars and hope to keep the total under 2k AUD. So, how does my build look? Here's the list:

You might want to check out some CL30 RAM instead! It’s around the same price and could give you a bit more performance. Definitely worth considering while you're finalizing your build!
Thanks for the tip! I did find this CL30 RAM (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/4cCCmG/patriot-viper-venom-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-pvv532g600c30k) for less. I think I’ll go with this instead.
