I accidentally set my new PC to sleep mode while trying to power it off, and now I'm not sure how to wake it up. I've tried moving the mouse, pressing keys on the keyboard, and even pressing the power button, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me figure out how to get it back on?

It could just be in sleep mode instead of powered off. If the screen is black but the keyboard and mouse lights are on, that's a good sign! Try pressing the spacebar or moving the mouse again and wait a moment—it might wake up!
Make sure your monitor is on and connected properly. Sometimes it appears that the PC is asleep when it's really just the monitor not waking up. Check your cables!
If you think your PC isn't off, try holding down the power button for about 5 seconds. That usually forces the computer to shut down, and you can then turn it back on. Give that a shot!
I tried that, and it didn't work. Just a black screen with the keyboard and mouse still glowing.
