I've been facing an issue where my PC shuts down unexpectedly while I'm playing games. Here are the specs of my build: CPU: Ryzen 9 5950, GPU: RTX 3070, RAM: 32 GB DDR4, and I'm using a 650-watt Onyx power supply. I'm also concerned about the temperatures since it's summer and my room doesn't have air conditioning. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It sounds like thermal throttling might be an issue, especially if your room is hot. Do you have an all-in-one (AIO) cooler or just stock fans for cooling? If you’re only using CPU and GPU fans, that might not be enough during intense gaming in warmer weather.
Did you make any recent changes to your setup before these shutdowns started happening? Sometimes, a new component can tip the balance if the system isn't optimized for it.
Yeah, I upgraded from a Ryzen 7 2700 to a Ryzen 9 a few months ago along with an SSD and new motherboard. Everything was fine until recently, but summer heat is definitely a concern now!
I totally get that! Just having CPU and GPU fans can struggle in the heat, especially if they're getting old. Have you thought about improving airflow or getting some extra fans?
