I was messing around with my settings in AMD Ryzen Master, mostly looking for a way to control my fans. I noticed my memory settings were on normal, which seemed off because I had set it to EXPO1 in the BIOS. I changed it to EXPO1 and clicked apply, but then my PC completely shut off and went to a black screen. I didn't change anything else, so I'm confused. Now, after shutting down and waiting a few minutes, I'm still getting a black screen when I restart. The DRAM light is green and the CPU light is red. I'm really worried—did turning on EXPO1 damage my brand new 7800X3D?

It sounds like you might have applied the wrong memory profile for your RAM. Try turning off your PSU, unplugging it, and removing the CMOS battery. After that, press the power button a few times to discharge any remaining power. Wait about 30 seconds before putting everything back together.
So I press the power button while the CMOS battery is out and everything is unplugged? Is the CMOS battery the same as the BIOS clock battery? I'm also really worried this might have harmed something long-term.
