I'm looking to build a budget gaming PC for my 12-year-old son. I've already purchased a GeForce 1650 Super and want to choose the rest of the components to match its age and price range. I'm considering a Dell Precision Workstation 5829 with a Xeon W-2102 CPU for about $350, but I'm unsure if that will be a good choice. I plan to swap out the graphics card for a 1660 Super, which costs $88. My total budget is $600. Do I need an additional fan for the graphics card? Should I just buy separate components instead? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think you can do better than that Xeon for $350. There are options out there that are significantly faster and might suit your son's gaming needs more effectively. Check out this alternative build I found - it's considerably more powerful and around the same price!
Yeah, that system with the 1660 doesn't require any extra fans since it comes pre-equipped. Also, it’s great for handling games at decent settings, especially for something like Minecraft. You're on the right track!
Thanks! I was confused about the fans. So as long as the card has one, I'm all set!
Hmm, that does look better! I'm okay with putting it together myself. Do you think the 1650 Super will be a solid card for that build?
