I'm curious if a 12GB AMD GPU will be good enough for average gaming and running virtual machines or emulators in 2025 and beyond. Specifically, I'm looking at the XFX MERCURY AMD RADEON RX 9070 XT WHITE—would that be considered overkill when paired with a Ryzen 5 7500F CPU? Should I consider upgrading to a 16GB GPU instead?

If you're gaming at 1080p and don’t plan on upgrading to a higher resolution monitor soon, a 12GB GPU should hold up just fine. But honestly, if you're aiming for 1440p gaming, I'd recommend 16GB minimum for 2025.
Thanks for the insight!
